A 90-day HR AI adoption plan
Treat AI adoption as a change program covering people, process, data, governance, and measurement.
Days 1–30: Awareness and Desire
Map user groups, benefits, concerns, sponsors, and three low- or medium-risk pilots such as policy search, report summarization, or onboarding suggestions.
Days 31–60: Knowledge and Ability
Train teams on AI basics, safe prompting, data classification, output verification, bias, human oversight, and data storytelling. Record purpose, data, review, error limits, and success metrics for every pilot.
Days 61–90: Reinforcement
- Compare outcomes with the baseline.
- Review errors, bias, incidents, and appeals.
- Run weekly feedback with AI champions.
- Present signal → insight → decision → outcome.
- Decide whether to continue, scale, or stop each pilot.
